[The Bloody Bay Fleet]

A letter was delivered to the Queen's war room, bearing the Bloody Fleet's seal.


My Dear Queen Aynia Moreaux,

The seas are more treacherous than before. I fear that the forces of Chaos have reawakened in the serpents of the depths, we have been attacked by a truly massive beast and its brood. While the smaller serpents have been slain and will be good eating for our crew, the massive leviathan ensured that our victory was not bloodless. We have lost eight ships to the massive serpent, and the large leviathan itself has escaped.

In other news, I had sent a party of eight tritons to scout the site of the southern portal, along with a Scrivener from my Scriptorium. I am sad to say that all on that ship were lost as well, but the valiant scrivener was able to report multiple things to me that you would find enlightening.

The southern portal is held by a house of false nobility from Chaos, that has an army of things that appear human at a distance but are truly monstrous. There are winged threats and beings that dress in silk and kill swiftly. It appears that this house of false nobility is digging a channel from the sea to their portal, doubtless to spread more maritime beasts. That is as much as I know. Be warned and wary, my queen, with what threats that Aimsir holds.
